LaVar Ball: Zion Williamson not as good as LiAngelo Ball

The bottom feeders of the NBA world are clamoring for the chance of landing Zion Williamson, who is considered by most to be a generational talent. Just don’t expect LaVar Ball to admit that.

In an interview with TMZ Sports, Ball stayed completely on brand and took a shot at Williamson while putting his son, LiAngelo Ball, up on a pedestal.

“He ain’t no big Baller,” LaVar said of the Duke superstar … “He’s a Williamson. Williamsons ain’t stronger than Ballers!”

Concerning LiAngelo, who flamed out last year in pre-draft workouts, Ball pretty much considers him to be a franchise savior.

“Biggest and the strongest 2-guard in the NBA right now. Ain’t nobody built like him at the 2-guard. Nobody. 6-6, 240, can shoot the 3, post you up — kill you. But, you going to see. You going to see.”

Ball also guaranteed that LiAngelo will play in the NBA summer league, dominate and sign an NBA contract ahead of next year.

Clearly, Ball is a fan of the “speak it into existence” philosophy.

For what it’s worth, we’ve never seen LiAngelo Ball do anything remotely close to this.
