Brandon Aubrey knocked in the game-winning 29-yard field goal with 1:48 to play, Marlon Williams grabbed seven catches for 109 yards and cornerback Josh Shaw sealed the victory with an interception with 15 seconds left to keep the Birmingham Stallions perfect in a 10-9 win over the New Orleans Breakers.

For Birmingham (8-0), a first-quarter, 21-yard grab by Williams set up the Stallions’ only touchdown of the game when quarterback J’Mar Smith connected with Adrian Hardy for a 27-yard scoring pass. New Orleans (5-3) set up the winning field goal by roughing Smith on another attempt for Williams, giving Aubrey a shorter field.

The Breakers, who scored on an Anthony Jones 3-yard touchdown run and a Taylor Bertolet 30-yard field goal, both after prolonged drives, had one last chance, and drove the ball from their 25 to their 45, but Shaw ended things with the kick on a deep pass attempt at his own 32.
