Forever in search of more speed, the Las Vegas Raiders reportedly signed veteran wideout John Brown to a one-year deal on Wednesday.

NFL Network said the agreement was worth $3.7 million plus incentives that could push the total to $5.5 million.

The Buffalo Bills cut the 30-year-old receiver last week to clear nearly $8 million in salary cap space.

The Raiders lost their top WR last season, Nelson Agholor, to free agency.

Brown caught 33 passes for 458 yards and three touchdowns in nine games with the AFC East champions in 2020. He set career highs in receptions (72) and receiving yards (1,060) in his first season with Buffalo in 2019, adding six touchdown grabs in 15 starts.

A third-round draft pick by Arizona in 2014, Brown has 320 career catches for 4,748 yards and 31 TDs in 96 games with the Cardinals (2014-17), Baltimore Ravens (2018) and Bills.
