Veteran defensive tackle Gerald McCoy signed a free agent deal with the Las Vegas Raiders on Wednesday.

The team confirmed the move but did not reveal details of the contract’s length or monetary value.

McCoy, 33, is a six-time Pro Bowl player who played nine seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after they selected him with the third overall pick in the 2010 draft out of Oklahoma.

He landed a one-year, $3 million contract with the Panthers in June 2019 and started all 16 games for Carolina that year, racking up five sacks.

In March 2020, he signed a three-year, $18 million contract with the Dallas Cowboys, but he was released in August after tearing his right quadriceps tendon. He never played a down in the NFL last year.

Over 139 career NFL games, all starts, McCoy has 59.5 sacks, six forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, 334 tackles and 153 quarterback hits.

His best season was 2013 with Tampa Bay, when he logged 9.5 sacks and 50 tackles, both career highs, while earning All-Pro honors.
