Nick Saban and Lane Kiffin haven’t always seen eye-to-eye, but now that Kiffin has settled into his own program he seems to have put the past behind him.
On Wednesday, the Florida Atlantic head coach lavished praise on his former boss, calling Saban the “GOAT” while touting his longevity.
Kiffin was responding to a tweet from a radio station host which asked fans to pick a current SEC head coach that would outlast Saban.
It sure seems like the “rat poison” days are finally behind us, folks.
Quite honestly, would it really surprise anyone if Saban spent the rest of his life coaching Alabama? He’s all-in all of the time, which is why he really is the greatest of all-time.
