The Philadelphia Eagles are underdogs once again at home in the NFC Championship Game against the Minnesota Vikings. After wearing an underdog mask last weekend following his team’s big win over the Atlanta Falcons, Lane Johnson created a customized “Home Dogs” T-shirt and is donating the proceeds to local Philadelphia schools.

Johnson shared the following about how proceeds would be delegated throughout the district.
“We figured it’d be a good way to raise money for the schools,” Johnson said, per Jimmy Kempski of phillyvoice.com. “It’s going to the school district of Philadelphia. It’s not going to one school. It’s going to be spread out. We got that set up with the mayor.
“They’ve been doing playground builds here every year. I see what those kids have, and it’s not a whole lot.”

Johnson and the Eagles host the Minnesota Vikings this Sunday, which marks the first NFC Championship Game the team has played in since 2008.
If the Eagles can pull off an underdog win, they will move on face either the Jacksonville Jaguars or New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII.
Either way things turn out, Johnson’s generous act to support his community will not be forgotten.
