Lamar Jackson dealing with quad injury, limited at practice

Baltimore Ravens superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson is dealing with a quad injury that had him limited at practice Monday.

With Jackson doing limited work, backup Robert Griffin III was taking all the first-team reps during the portion of Monday’s practice open to the media, per Jamison Hensley of ESPN.

Hopefully, this quad injury won’t keep Lamar Jackson from playing Thursday night when the Ravens take on the New York Jets.

The second-year quarterback has racked up 3,694 yards and 35 touchdowns from scrimmage this season, and he’s currently the heavy favorite to win NFL MVP. On top of that, Jackson has the Ravens sitting pretty atop the AFC with an 11-2 record heading into the final three games of the season.
