The Los Angeles Clippers are expected to be big time players in free agency this coming summer. Among those the team would like to sign, Kevin Durant and Kawhi Leonard sit atop the food chain.
Interestingly enough, it appears that the Clippers are not interested in Philadelphia 76ers All-Star guard and impending free agent Jimmy Butler.
Arash Markazi of the Los Angeles Times goes on to note that Butler would sign a max deal with the Los Angeles Lakers if they were to offer it to him.
That’s also a rather interesting development in that LeBron James is concerned that drama in Southern California might impact the Lakers’ chances in free agency.
As it relates to the Clippers, they are looking to add someone of a higher quality than Butler. That name is obvious. Kevin Durant.
