San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan has helped his team turn it around big time.

San Francisco was 10-22 in Shanahan’s first two seasons with the team. It now heads into the NFC Championship Game at 14-3 and overwhelming favorites to defeat the Green Bay Packers.

Shanahan is now out here drawing comparisons between his team and the recently-ended dynasty of the NBA’s Golden State Warriors.

That’s some rather interesting stuff in that Golden State earned five consecutive trips to the NBA Finals and three championships prior to this season.

Shanahan is not wrong in that Golden State’s ability to beat you a number of ways during its dynasty is comparable to what the 49ers have done this season.

Whether it’s Jimmy Garoppolo leading comebacks against future Hall of Famers or a dominant defense, the 49ers are a true threat to beat you a number of ways.

Even then, this seems to be a bit premature. We’ll see soon enough if Shanahan and Co. will end up hoisting the franchise’s sixth Lombardi Trophy in Miami come February.
