Kyle Busch says he is just racing for fun this week at the Tulsa Shootout but his Stock Non-Wing Stock Micro Sprint appearance ended in a considerably less enjoyable way on Friday.
Racing with Ace Moore for sixth place in Heat 35, Busch got tangled with the other car in Turn 4 and added to the flip counter and sending the car up and around three times. Busch climbed out of the car without harm but the damage ends his run in the division.
He is also racing in the Winged Outlaw Micro division on Friday night but is mostly in town to oversee the three divisions his son, Brexton, is racing in this week in the precursor to the Chili Bowl Midget Nationals in Oklahoma.
