KT Rolster move on to knockout round at Worlds

The Esports Arena has a variety of machines with a variety of game for all interests. The Brookdale Community College has built an Esports arena where students and the community can practice video gaming. Its the latest step in joining a rapidly growing industry. As part of it, the college also has introduced its first varsity esports team featuring 19 players for three different games.

KT Rolster recorded a sweep against Dplus to win their Round 5 High Match on Sunday in Swiss Stage action at the 2023 League of Legends World Championship.

KT Rolster posted a 34-minute win in blue and 43-minute victory on red to advance to the knockout round. KT Rolster will face JD Gaming in the quarterfinals on Saturday.

Also on Sunday, Weibo Gaming secured a 2-1 triumph over Fnatic, and Bilibili Gaming won by the same score versus G2.

Fnatic notched a 28-minute win on blue in the opening map before Weibo Gaming responded with a 31-minute victory on blue and 24-minute triumph on red. Weibo Gaming will square off versus NRG in the quarterfinals of the knockout round on Thursday.

Bilibili Gaming sandwiched a 34-minute win on red and 29-minute victory on blue around a second-map setback. Bilibili Gaming will challenge Gen.G Esports in a quarterfinal clash on Friday.

After the Swiss Stage, the $2.225 million world championship advances to the knockout stage. All rounds are being contested in venues in South Korea. The knockout round concludes with the Nov. 19 grand final at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.
