Klay Thompson is officially questionable to play in Game 3 of the 2019 NBA Finals, but the Golden State Warriors star expects to be on the court.

Speaking with the media on Tuesday, Thompson said he “will be a game time decision, but for me it’s hard to see me not playing,” per Marc J. Spears of ESPN.

Thompson has played through injuries before, but hamstrings are tricky. He injured his in the second half of Game 2 when he attempted to draw a foul on a three-point shot, coming down awkwardly.

Kevin Durant (calf injury) has already been ruled out. Backup center Kevon Looney is also out for the series due to a broken collarbone suffered after Kawhi Leonard crashed into him.

Needless to say, Golden State heads into Game 3 short-handed. If Thompson can play, and play well, it would be a significant boost.

Game 3 takes place at Oracle Arena Wednesday night, starting at 9 p.m. ET. The series is all knotted up at one game apiece.
