A day after getting traded to the Chicago Bears, Khalil Mack has issued a statement thanking the fans of his old team, the Oakland Raiders.
Mack took to Twitter to thank the fans in Oakland for all of the support that they gave him for the first four years of his career.
Raider Nation the love you’ve shown my family and I for the past 4 years has been amazing we loved every minute of it! Unfortunately it has come to an end but I will cherish my time in Oakland forever and will forever have love for the Nation!

In a move that reportedly surprised Mack himself, Oakland traded Mack to Chicago on Saturday. Shortly after the trade, he signed a record-breaking deal with the Bears.
The end of Mack’s tenure in Oakland certainly was ugly, with him and new coach Jon Gruden never getting on the same page. But it’s nice to see Mack take a second to thank everyone in Oakland who did support him.
