Cleveland Cavaliers rookie Kevin Porter Jr. was suspended one game by the NBA for making contact with a ref during Sunday’s game against the Dallas Mavericks.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski broke the news Monday evening.
The first-round pick has appeared in six games this season for the Cavs, playing an average of 18 minutes per game while averaging 5.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.
Porter Jr. will miss Cleveland’s Tuesday night game against the Boston Celtics and be eligible to return Friday night when the Cavaliers take on the Washington Wizards.
