Kevin Durant to sign with the Nets, per report

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

The Brooklyn Nets are forming a super team right in front of our eyes.

Having already received a commitment from Kyrie Irving, the Nets will reportedly sign two-time NBA Finals MVP Kevin Durant once the market opens Sunday evening.

This has to go down as the biggest day in Nets history. While Durant will miss all of next season with a ruptured Achilles, the hope is that he doesn’t lose a step once he does return.

Brooklyn is also hoping that DeAndre Jordan joins his best bud in the Big Apple. That could come to fruition as early as Sunday evening.

For now, the Nets pulled off an absolutely amazing haul with free agency set to open here soon.
