New Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant remains a spectator now that the 2019-20 NBA season has resumed at Walt Disney World. Durant has not played a game since he was a member of the Golden State Warriors in last year’s NBA Finals.

A pretty big fan of the game, the two-time NBA Finals MVP chimed in on who he believes will take home the trophy in Orlando. It’s not his Nets.

This isn’t necessarily going out on a limb. The Clippers and Bucks have been among the favorites with the Lakers to win the NBA title since the 2019-20 season started what seems like eons ago.

Though, it is rather interesting that Durant is not picking LeBron James and the Lakers. He’s going in a completely different direction.

Brooklyn Nets injury woes

For what it’s worth, Durant’s Nets team is down over a half-dozen players due to a combination of players opting out, COVID-19 positive tests and injuries. Despite their upset win over the Bucks earlier this week, the Nets can’t be seen as legit title contenders.

As for the Clippers, they are coming off a brutal loss to the Phoenix Suns in a game that saw Devin Booker put up one of the most-iconic shots of the NBA season.
