WATCH: Kevin Durant suffers apparent leg injury on non-contact play

Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant left Game 5 against the Houston Rockets in the third quarter with a dreaded non-contact injury.

Shortly after making a bucket, Durant turned around as though he had been hit in the back of his leg. Only, nobody touched him. Durant immediately stopped running and after an intentional foul, walked off the court.

If there’s any good news for the Warriors it’s that Durant walked off on his own power. Unfortuantely, the way that Durant reacted is consistent with Achilles injuries.

This will definitely be something to monitor through the remainder of this series and the playoffs. Prior to the injury, Durant was 8-for-18 with 22 points.
