Karl-Anthony Towns hilariously trolls Jimmy Butler on Twitter

New Minnesota Timberwolves guard Jimmy Butler acquainted himself with the state’s wilderness just recently with ESPN The Magazine‘s Sam Alipour.

The two apparently roasted marshmallows, went canoeing and hung out with one another in a tent when the weather turned wet in the Land of 10,000 lakes.

But Butler himself, a Texas native, couldn’t handle the tough terrain of the Minnesota water.

That’s all sorts of unfortunate right there.

And Butler’s new teammate, Karl-Anthony Towns, let him know about it in a big way on Twitter.

Why you got to do your teammate so dirty, Karl?

At the very least, Butler looked pretty darn good in his get-up.

It wasn’t all fun and games here. Butler did sound off on Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg, indicating that he gave the team an ultimatum between the head coach and himself before being shipped off to Minnesota during the summer.

It’s now pretty obvious that Butler is happy with his surroundings on the Wolves. At 7-3 on the season, the team is playing great basketball.

He’s also an extremely popular figure in Minnesota itself.

But don’t let this distract you from the amazing troll job KAT threw Butler’s way on Wednesday.
