David Beaty is preparing for his final game as Kansas football’s head coach, and the school’s official website is letting us know about it.

ESPN’s Dave Wilson pointed out the brutal honesty of Kansas labeling Beaty the “Outgoing Head Football Coach” on his university profile.

In fairness to Kansas, there is nothing factually incorrect. Beaty’s tenure will end following a clash with Texas, and Les Miles will be his replacement.

Still, they couldn’t let Beaty be the “Head Football Coach” for a few more days?

Yes, Kansas, his tenure was disappointing. Beaty took over an absolute wreck of a program, but the Jayhawks have trudged to a 6-41 record under his watch. They managed only two Big 12 wins during his tenure.

But that’s just merciless.
