You never know whom you might see during the Super Bowl Opening Night festivities. That was the case for Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, who saw someone he recognized Monday.

As he was holding court with the media, Reid looked out and saw Carrot Top milling around near his scrum. So, Reid took the opportunity to acknowledge the comedian’s presence.

Apparently, Reid said to him: “Didn’t recognize you. You changed your hair. And… you look buff.”

Carrot Top, who’s been doing standup comedy for more than 30 years, lives and performs in Las Vegas on a regular basis.

While the Chiefs were answering questions from the media, he was talking to the reporters as well.

The 58-year-old comedian was on “The Dan Patrick Show” earlier in the day and was asked about how long it takes for him to do his hair in the morning.

Perhaps he’ll hang around for the San Francisco 49ers media session and talk to 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan.
