The Indianapolis Colts have reportedly won the Justin Houston sweepstakes, as Adam Schefter reports the veteran pass rusher has reached an agreement with the AFC South team.
It’s a two-year deal worth $24 million, per Schefter.
This is a huge get for Indy, which has needed pass-rushing help ever since Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis retired.
Though he’s on the tail end of his career, Houston (30) is still a very effective pass rusher. Last year in Kansas City, he tallied nine sacks, five forced fumbles, and added an interception.
Over the course of his eight-year NFL career, Houston has racked up 78.5 sacks.
