Just two minutes away from celebrating a huge victory over No. 8 Penn State, the Ohio State Buckeyes and Ohio Stadium were left holding their breath after quarterback Justin Fields suffered a leg injury.

Ohio State’s offense went for it on fourth down to try and ice the game. When the play broke down, Fields rolled out to his left and was taken down for a sack, landing awkwardly on his leg.

The entire stadium went silent as Fields remained on the turf with trainers rushing to his side. After an extensive examination on the field, Fields jogged off the field without assistance.

Ohio State simply can’t afford to lose Fields with its upcoming matchup against Michigan. For now, hopefully, it appears Fields avoided a potentially significant injury.
