Julio Jones reminds us all he’s not human

Julio Jones and Matt Ryan Atlanta Falcons

Atlanta Falcons receiver Julio Jones hasn’t put up the kind of numbers we’ve seen from him in the past as he struggles with nagging injuries in 2017. But on Sunday, the All-Pro reminded us all that he’s not only one of the league’s elite players — he’s not even human.

After hauling in a tremendous touchdown pass from fellow receiver Mohamed Sanu, Jones caught his second touchdown of Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Bucaneers.

The first one was amazing, but it didn’t hold a candle to what we’re about to show you. Jones made Bucs cornerback Ryan Smith look absolutely silly, juking him right out of his shoes before his incredible play to stretch in for the score.

Here’s another look at what Jones did to finish off the play for six points.

That’s just insane.

The entire package that makes Jones an elite receiver was on display here — his elite route-running abilities, his speed, his athleticism, his hands and his willingness to put his body on the line.

It’s always a pleasure to see Jones playing at the top of his game.
