Juan Soto is on the injured list. But all signs point towards the Washington Nationals star returning from the IL as soon as he’s eligible.
Soto was on the field playing catch prior to Washington’s game against the Milwaukee Brewers (H/T Alex Chappell, MASN). Mark Zuckerman of MASN added that the Nats expect Soto back on Satruday, the first day he’s eligible to return.
Getting Soto back will be a boost for the Nats.
He’s hitting only .248 on the season, but also has a .368 OBP and is slugging .467. He’s added six homers and three steals.
