J.T. Barrett has been the hottest quarterback in the nation lately, but his hot streak came to a screeching halt Saturday against Iowa. Hawkeyes fans at Kinnick Stadium, already pumped up for this underdog matchup, were absolutely going crazy after Amani Hooker went to the house on a pick-six.
Before even 10 seconds had run off the clock, Iowa was up 7-0. And the fans were impossibly loud as Ohio State’s offense took the field for a second time. Then Barrett silenced them in about two minutes with a touchdown to even the score.
It’s going to be a very interesting game.
