Following an ugly loss on Thursday Night Football, things appeared to be getting worse for the Arizona Cardinals when rookie quarterback Josh Rosen was spotted wearing a walking boot after the game. Fortunately, he seems to have avoided a major injury.
Cardinals coach Steve Walks announced Rosen suffered a sprained toe, but the team believes he should be able to play in Week 8.
As for QB Josh Rosen, #AZCardinals coach Steve Wilks says he has a sprained toe but should be OK for next week. Some good injury news.

Rosen suffered the injury late in Thursday’s blowout loss. Wilks drew criticism for leaving his rookie in and risking injury.
Fortunately, Wilks and the Cardinals can now relax a little knowing Rosen avoided a significant injury. While this season will be rough for Rosen and the Cardinals, making starts will at least allow him a chance to learn and improve in his rookie season.
