Josh Gordon (hamstring) ruled out of Week 2 against Saints

The Cleveland Browns will have to roll without talented receiver Josh Gordon in Week 2 when they take on the New Orleans Saints.

Gordon is once again dealing with a hamstring injury and was ruled out on Saturday, along with tight end Seth DeValve and linebacker Christian Kirksey.

Last weekend at home against Pittsburgh, Gordon only caught one pass, but it was a big one — an incredible 17-yard touchdown that tied the game up.

Just earlier this week, head coach Hue Jackson inserted Gordon into the starting lineup on the official depth chart, so it’s clear the team expected him to be ready for Sunday’s game in New Orleans.

Now that Gordon is ruled out, we’ll be looking for more production out of Rashard Higgins and rookie Antonio Callaway.
