Jordan Spieth hangs out in Saints war room during draft

What do PGA players do during the week when they’re not golfing? Well, Jordan Spieth and Ryan Palmer spent Thursday evening watching the NFL Draft in the war room of the New Orleans Saints.

Spieth and Palmer are both known fans of the Dallas Cowboys. But that didn’t stop them from enjoying customized Saints’ jerseys.

Earlier in the week, both quarterback Drew Brees and head coach Sean Payton played with Palmer in the Wednesday pro-am.

While he didn’t go to either the Saints or his beloved Cowboys, Palmer had to have some joy in seeing fellow Texas A&M alum Myles Garrett get selected first overall. None of Spieth’s fellow Texas Longhorns were taken in the first round.
