The Washington Redskins will head to New Orleans to face the Saints without tight end Jordan Reed and wide receiver Terrelle Pryor.
According to a report by ESPN’s John Keim, both Reed and Pryor have been ruled out. Pryor, who is dealing with an ankle injury, is slated to visit a specialist on Monday. This is after he failed to draw a single target in last Sunday’s game.
As for Reed, the injury-prone tight end is working through a hamstring injury that kept him limited in Week 8. He has played in a total of just six games so far this season.
We should expect veteran tight end Vernon Davis to be heavily involved once again as quarterback Cousins’ right-hand man. Washington faces a red-hot Saints defense that has allowed opposing quarterbacks to complete just 59.9 percent of their passes.
