Eric Weddle has recently wondered out loud whether he’ll be back in Baltimore playing for the Ravens and hinted he’d retire if that wasn’t the case. Well, if head coach John Harbaugh gets his way, Weddle will definitely be back.

On Friday, Harbaugh said that Weddle and offensive guard Marshal Yanda are both under contract and “unless something changes, they’ll be back. … I want them both back for sure,” per Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic.

Weddle, 34, is entering the final year of his current deal and is set to make $6.5 million in 2019. Since joining the Ravens three seasons ago, he’s put up 220 combined tackles, 69 assist, 24 passes defended and 10 interceptions. This past season, Weddle finished third in tackles (68), made his third straight Pro Bowl and helped lead the league’s best defense.

Yanda, also 34, is one of the league’s top offensive guards. He missed most of the 2017 season with a broken ankle suffered in September but appeared in all 16 games for Baltimore this past season. The former third-round pick out of Iowa is also entering the final year of his current deal and will count for just over $10.1 million against the cap.
