John Elway shoots down speculation he wants to own Broncos

The Denver Broncos and NFL community as a whole is still reeling from the loss of former owner Pat Bowlen, who passed away last Thursday night.

In the wake of his passing, there is uncertainty about who will become the next owner of the Broncos. Along with that has been speculation that team President and general manager John Elway might like to eventually take over as the owner.

Speaking with Mike Klis of 9News in Denver Monday, Elway made it clear that isn’t in the cards for him, noting he is happy with his place in the organization.
