Joel Embiid pulled off a flop for the ages with five minutes remaining in the first half of Sunday’s Game 7 between the Philadelphia 76ers and Toronto Raptors.
Embiid got Marc Gasol to jump in the air on a pump fake from behind the arc. Then, as he was taking his shot, Gasol barely touched his head. Based on the way Embiid flopped to the ground, however, you would have thought he was taken out at the knees.
World-class flop there by Embiid. Though, if we’re being fair he did get touched, albeit ever so slightly, by Gasol.
