The Baltimore Ravens might be forced into starting rookie quarterback Lamar Jackson in their next game, as a hip injury to Joe Flacco could reportedly keep him out of Week 11.
According to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic, an injury suffered early in last week’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers could keep Flacco out of next Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Head coach John Harbaugh did not respond to a request for comment on this matter, per Zrebiec.
So far this year, after a hot start Flacco has regressed to the mean, which isn’t great. He’s been abysmal the past five games, throwing four touchdowns and four interceptions to bring his seasonal total up to 12 touchdowns and six interceptions.
The Ravens have lost three games and four of their last five and are currently on a bye. At the season’s midway point, Baltimore is in third place within the AFC North with a record of 4-5.
