Jimmy Graham will try and play through broken thumb

As the Green Bay Packers attempt to rescue their season, they’ll have Jimmy Graham battling through a broken thumb.

Despite reports that he’d miss anywhere from four to six weeks with the broken thumb, Graham is going to try and play through the injury, head coach Mike McCarthy told reporters on Monday.

Given the financial commitment the Packers made to Graham, this decision has to be well received by the organization. And you know his commitment to gutting this out is playing well in the locker room.

Whether that translates to success on the field remains to be seen. If we’re honest, even fully healthy Graham has disappointed this year. Through 10 games, he’s caught just 34 games for 452 yards and just two touchdowns.
