Just when it looked like New York Jets tight end Chris Herndon was finally getting healthy, he’s out again with a broken rib.
Herndon played Sunday against the New York Giants for the first time all season. He’s been out due to a four-game suspension to open the season and then suffered a hamstring injury.
When healthy, Herndon has been productive. Last season, he appeared in all 16 games for the Jets, catching 39 passes for 509 yards and four touchdowns.
