Fresh off an upset win over the Dallas Cowboys last week, Adam Gase and the New York Jets will look to hand the New England Patriots their first loss of the season Monday night.

Gase took to the media on Thursday to discuss this upcoming matchup. The already embattled head coach had one hilarious reaction when asked about Pats receiver Julian Edelman.

That’s some absolutely great stuff right there. Despite being on the lighter side of the complexion scale, that’s not the only thing Wes Welker and Danny Amendola have in common with Edelman.

All three have been and were dominant with Tom Brady tossing them the rock. Edelman has already put up 38 receptions for 449 yards in six games this season.

He ranks third in Patriots history in receptions and fifth in receiving yards. Welker? He’s the Pats’ all-time leader in receptions. Meanwhile, Amendola put up 230 receptions in five seasons with the Patriots.

This is the definition of mad scientist Bill Belichick working on his cloning technique.
