Jerry Jones says Cowboys are thinking about bringing Dez Bryant back

Dez Bryant Dallas Cowboys

Free-agent wide receiver Dez Bryant has made waves recently by indicating that he’d like to rejoin the Dallas Cowboys after a two-year hiatus.

Bryant, 31, has not played in the NFL since 2017. He suffered a torn Achilles as a member of the New Orleans Saints ahead of the 2018 season and was not rostered last year.

Dallas has played the possibility of a Bryant return to Big D coy. That’s until Thursday. Owner Jerry Jones noted that while he has not talked to Bryant personally, he’s been thinking about a reunion.

That quote is full-on Jerry Jones. One even could say it brings back memories of another of Jones’ struggles with the English language.

As it relates to a potential return of Bryant to the Cowboys, stranger things have happened. That would only be magnified if the Cowboys were to lose Pro Bowl receiver Amari Cooper in free agency.

In any event, it’s certainly something to keep an eye on.
