The professional sports world is banding together in an effort to help those impacted the most by the devastating Hurricane Harvey that hit Texas this week.
We first saw J.J. Watt of the Houston Texans start a fundraiser with the goal of reaching $200,000. As of Thursday evening, said fundraiser had raised north of $12 million. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Rams have decided to donate proceeds from their Week 1 ticket sells to the relief effort.
Now comes this absolutely amazing story from the Dallas Cowboys. As the team hosted a Salvation Army fundraiser telethon on Thursday evening, owner Jerry Jones donated $1 million of his own cash.

It might not be a whole lot of cash for the billionaire, but it will most definitely do a lot to help in the recovery efforts.
As it relates to the Cowboys, they have Dak Prescott and Dez Bryant on hand to take calls from inviduals looking to donate.
