JD Gaming sweep Bilibili, advance at Mid-Season Invitational

JD Gaming recorded a 3-0 victory over Bilibili Gaming on Sunday to advance to the upper-bracket final at the League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational.

JD Gaming captured a 25-minute win on blue and 40- and 38-minute victories on red to set up a clash with T1 on Thursday. T1 advanced to that contest with a 3-2 win over Gen.G Esports on Saturday.

Also on Sunday, Cloud9 posted a 3-1 victory over Golden Guardians in a lower-bracket Round 1 match.

Cloud9 secured a 23-minute win on red and 31-minute victory on blue before Golden Guardians responded with a 35-minute triumph on red. Cloud9 countered by winning Game 4 to advance to face Gen.G Esports in a lower-bracket quarterfinal clash on Wednesday.

Bilibili Gaming, meantime, moves to the lower bracket, where it will face G2 Sports on Tuesday.

The $250,000 Mid-Season Invitational’s bracket stage runs through May 21 with a top prize of $50,000. That stage is contested in a double-elimination format. All matches are best-of-five.
