Jazz’ Rudy Gobert tests positive for coronavirus

A crazy scene unfolded inside Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City ahead of the Thunder’s game against the Utah Jazz Wednesday night.

As the two teams were preparing for the game, officials ordered players off the court and back into the locker room. Almost immediately, the game was postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.

Reports noted that multiple Jazz players were dealing with illnesses ahead of the game, including star center Rudy Gobert. Given the nature of the coronavirus epidemic plaguing the United States and the world, precautions had to be taken.

Unfortunately, it looks like things are not great. Gobert tested positive for the virus.

It goes without saying that things are not going swimmingly on this front right now. More so than the sports world, the pandemic is now threatening the health of countless millions.
