Miami Dolphins quarterback Jay Cutler exited Sunday’s game against the New York Jets in pain after taking a shot to his ribs.
According to head coach Adam Gase, the hit resulted in “multiple cracked ribs” for the quarterback, who isn’t expected to play this upcoming week, which is a short one for the Fins.

Gase said right now it doesn't look good for Cutler playing Thursday. (He will not, per @ArmandoSalguero).

Thankfully for Miami, Matt Moore was fantastic in reserve at home Sunday against the Jets. He passed for 188 yards and two touchdowns, leading the team to score 17 unanswered points in a comeback win in the fourth quarter.
Moore will need to be sharp on the road this Thursday against a tough Baltimore defense that has forced 15 takeaways this year, second-most in the NFL. A healthy dose of Jay Ajayi could also help the backup quarterback engineer a winning game plan against a vulnerable Ravens team that has dropped four out of its last five games.
