New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul appears is one tough cookie. The pass rusher said he’s doing “OK” after an offseason surgery that repaired four internal injuries.
The one-time Super Bowl champion had an excellent bounce-back 2016 season following his 4th of July injury, recording seven sacks and a combined 53 tackles in 12 games. He also scored a touchdown on a fumble recovery (watch here).
Pierre-Paul missed half of his 2015 campaign due to that nasty fireworks accident that severely damaged his hand. Fortunately, due to last season’s rebound, the two-time Pro Bowler just inked a four-year, $62 million deal to remain with the Giants.
We wish JPP luck with his recovery process. It is speculated that he should be ready to practice by training camp, per Vacchiano.
