Pete Carroll on Jarran Reed suspension: Seahawks ‘respect what the league has done’

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll chimed in on the Jarran Reed suspension Thursday, offering support for the NFL and its decision.

Speaking to reporters, Carroll said, “We respect what the league has done and the decisions that they make,” per Curtis Crabtree of Sports Radio KJR.

Reed will be suspended the first six games of the 2019 season due to a 2017 incident in which he is accused of assaulting a woman. He was never arrested or charged and issued a statement after the suspension was announced saying he “totally” disagreed with it.
