James Harden (hamstring) out through All-Star break

It will be at least another week-and-a-half before James Harden makes his debut with the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Sixers announced Monday that Harden will continue to sit with his hamstring injury through the break, including missing the All-Star Game in Cleveland on Sunday.

Acquired Thursday in a trade-deadline deal with the Brooklyn Nets, Harden has been nursing a strained hamstring and hasn’t played since Feb. 2. The team said he will continue his treatment and an update on his status will be given after the break.

The Sixers have two more games this week before the break — at home against Boston on Tuesday and at Milwaukee on Thursday. They return to action Feb. 25 at Minnesota.

Harden, 32, has played in 44 games, averaging 22.5 points this season. He led the Nets with 10.2 assists and 8.0 rebounds per game.
