Jaguars running back James Robinson (Achilles) out vs. Jets

Jacksonville Jaguars running back James Robinson sustained an Achilles injury during the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the New York Jets in East Rutherford, N.J.

Robinson immediately grabbed for his ankle after going down without contact on a play in which Tavon Auston rushed for a 6-yard gain.

Robinson had three carries for 10 yards before exiting the contest on a cart.

Robinson, 23, has run for 767 yards with eight touchdowns in 14 games this season. He also has 31 catches for 222 yards.

Robinson has rushed for 1,837 yards and 15 touchdowns in 28 career games with the Jaguars. He also has 80 receptions for 566 yards and three scores.
