The back and forth between star cornerback Jalen Ramsey and his Jacksonville Jaguars team took another turn on Wednesday.

Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone announced that Ramsey has decided to leave the team for the birth of his daughter. There’s no timeline for his return to the field.

Ramsey requested a trade from the Jaguars after getting into a spat with Marrone during the team’s Week 1 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Most recently, Ramsey was away from the Jaguars earlier this week with that was originally dubbed as an illness. It’s since been noted that he’s dealing with multiple injuries following Week 3’s win over the Tennessee Titans.

This latest absence is more than understandable. We wish Ramsey and his better half a clean birth and a healthy child.
