Jaguars Fan Pushes for Greg Jennings to Join the Team

Wide receiver Greg Jennings found himself one of the newest players testing the free agency after the Minnesota Vikings cut him following the signing of wide receiver Mike Wallace.

With only a handful of available and semi-appealing wide receivers still looking for teams, Jennings makes for one of the better options at this point in time. Additionally, the Jacksonville Jaguars certainly could use some depth after leading receiver Cecil Shorts was signed by the Houston Texans earlier this week.

This fan is obviously campaigning for Jennings to move to the sunny state of Florida by enticing him with this gorgeous warm-weather shot.

Jenning’s “noted” comment probably goes farther than just agreeing that the weather looks amazing. He needs a new team, and after the Jags were not successful in landing Randall Cobb earlier this month, Jennings could certainly be picked up for a bargain price compared to what they were willing to pay the Green Bay Packers’ star.

A former Packer himself, Jennings’ best years are behind him. This was evident by his past two seasons in Minnesota where he totaled 1,546 yards and 10 touchdowns. With the Jags having no better options at the time, signing a short-term deal with the 31-year-old receiver does not sound like a terrible plan.
