Chad Henne was a free agent leading into this week. There was no question he would be re-signed by Jacksonville however.
The 28 year-old will start the 2014 season according to Coach Gus Bradley, even if they do go with a quarterback in the No. 3 overall pick in the draft. (Doubtful it will be a Teddy Bridgewater or Johnny Manziel that will be selected either way, so relax a little Chad.)
Henne signed a two-year, $8 million contract, which also has a $1.5 million signing bonus.
He finished 2013 with 305 out of 503 attempted passes, 3,241 yards, and 13 touchdowns.
