J.J. Watt shouts out T.J. Watt after rookie comes up with two sacks

J.J. Watt

J.J. Watt was, like many of us, eager to see what his younger brother, T.J. Watt, would do in his first NFL game Friday night.

Let’s just say, the rookie out of Wisconsin was darn impressive. He came up with two early sacks for the Pittsburgh Steelers, who were playing the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium (watch them both here).

In response to seeing his younger brother dominating right off the bat, J.J. Watt tweeted out the old, “I see you” emoji a few times at T.J.

As a recently converted former tight end, T.J. has been learning how to rush the passer on a fast track. He put up 11.5 sacks last year for the Badgers and appears to be heeding the advice given to him by both his older brothers as he steps into the big-boy game.

The Steelers desperately need Watt to become a dynamic, consistent threat off the edge. The ancient James Harrison has been the team’s leading sack artist in recent years, but that cannot be the case if Pittsburgh wants to contend for a championship in 2017.
