Seoul Infernal recorded their second straight sweep on Saturday in Week 2 action in East Region qualifiers for the Overwatch League’s Spring Stage Knockouts.

The infernal defeated the Dallas Fuel with a 2-0 win on Oasis, followed by a 3-1 triumph on Blizzard World and 3-2 victory on Shambali Monastery.

Meanwhile, the Guangzhou Charge also pulled off a sweep, knocking off the Seoul Dynasty. The Charge took 2-1 wins on Lijiang Tower and King’s Row to go with a 3-0 victory on Rialto.

The OWL format is different this year, with lower-level teams getting the chance to compete with the top-level squads.

The season format will now see teams amass points based on their results in regional qualifiers rather than the standard league standings that were in place in previous years.
